Bloemfontein stood up from the ashes after being quiet for quite some time. We have to get to know each other, as there are still some unconnected identities within Bloemfontein. At least effort is made to bring Linux as well as Free Open Source Software to life. Keep an eye out for activities near you!

The Release Party held at HTS Louis Botha was a succes after the excitement, planning and lengthy wait period. Although the group is small in number the success of the event wasn't little at all.

We discussed several matters of interest and as this was a first time, we made good on getting to know each other. Bernice, Frans and Danie came all the way from Brandfort to come and join in on the event. There was a cake as well, so we can also have something to show to the other teams around South Africa. Effort will be made to increase activity in the Bloemfontein area, so we can host speakers at events, and excite people in order for them to want and be a part of our group.
